Deborah has had the opportunity to work in a number of areas of law including corporate, oil and gas, bankruptcy, employment, and contracts which has allowed her to hone-in the details, but not forget the long term goals of her clients. Deborah started her career as an attorney working in-house and learning the business side first. A unique opportunity to see how the business works, and how the pieces work together, how they are integrated. This allows her to never forget the business side of things, when providing legal advice.
Deborah has served as General Counsel of both privately held and publicly traded companies where she helped her clients buy and sell companies, including the sale of a $6b subsidiary. In 2018, Deborah Hubbs founded Community Christian Legal Aid which focuses on legal justice for the working poor.
Deborah has served in a variety of non-profits including founding the Houston Chapter of 4Word Women in 2015. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Nazarene University and a Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
Married for 30 years to Tracy Hubbs, with 2 grown sons and a daughter in love, Deborah considers her family to be her greatest earthly blessing.
