“With nearly 20 years of experience practicing law, I know how to prioritize the needs of you and your business.”

Every story is different with businesses. As an attorney with extensive in-house corporate experience, I can help you create a strategy that maximizes your personal and professional long term value.

It’s necessary to come up with a custom strategy that puts you and your business in the best position possible so you can focus on the rewarding aspects of your business by continuing to form, build, and grow your business.

Being transparent and honest with each other is key to you and your business’s success.

Throughout my time as a business and bankruptcy attorney, I’ve found that our trust can be the difference between a successful result and a devastating conclusion.

On my part, I'll strive to be as transparent as possible so you can have realistic expectations for finding a solution.

On the other hand, I’ll be able to provide you with the best possible representation when I’m aware of every relevant factor regarding your case.

My real-world experience working in business is valuable to your case and your business’s health.

Before I started law school, I had applicable experience in the business world. This sets me apart from other attorneys in several ways. In addition, I began my career as an attorney in-house and have served as general counsel for several companies with an understanding how each part of the business is integral to it's success.

What attorneys learn in law school regarding business law is minimal compared to attorneys who have worked with companies hand-in-hand.

Because of my experience, I have seen first hand what it takes to start up a business and make it as profitable as possible.

WHEN YOU’RE STRUGGLING WITH MONEY,
I’LL BE THERE FOR YOU

TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND BY ELIMINATING
YOU OR YOUR COMPANY'S DEBT.

Personal finance is never easy to deal with, whether you reside in Houston, Conroe, or anywhere in The Woodlands of the State of Texas. No one is taught how to really deal with debt, or how to deal with creditors, especially if it results from an injury or illness.

Creditors also break the rules at time and it's important to have an attorney who understands them and help guide you so you make the best possible decision.  Sometimes bankrupty can be prevented and we look at those options too.

There are two types of bankruptcy for individual debtors.  What is the difference?

YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR A ZERO MONEY DOWN CH. 7 BANKRUPTCY FILING

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, also known as “liquidation bankruptcy,” eliminates your debt by taking your non-exempt property (if you have any) and selling it. The money from those sales goes toward things like your hospital bills or credit card debts.

On the other hand, Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, or “reorganization bankruptcy,” takes all of your debts and reorganizes into one simple payment plan that lasts typically about three to five years. The attorneys fees for a Chapter 13 are paid out through the plan.

If you live in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area or your business is located there and you are looking to file for bankruptcy, turn to my firm — Deborah Hubbs, Attorney & Counselor at Law, PLLC — to schedule a consultation and get started today.
